Interested in participating in research?

UF researchers conduct many different kinds of research studies, including clinical trials. Some studies focus on enrolling volunteers with certain health conditions, but others need healthy volunteers.

HealthStreet is currently navigating people to many of these studies, some of which can be completed in minutes.

Here are a few studies that you can participate in now:

  1. A 2-hour focus group to discuss participants' experiences with drug use (specifically the use of cocaine with either alcohol, marijuana or both) to help researchers understand the best questions to ask to gather information on polysubstance use;
  2. A focus group to assess the acceptance and usability of a mobile-phone application to manage anxiety and monitor mood-change symptoms among pregnant and postpartum women;
  3. A study for licensed drivers 65+ to obtain the thoughts and beliefs of older adults on self-driving vehicles; and
  4. A study using virtual human technology (VHT) seeking participants who identify as Hispanic/Latino, who are between the ages of 50-73, and who are fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.

If you are interested in hearing more about these and other studies, please contact HealthStreet at 352-294-4880.
