Join the Conversation to Help #CureStigma
On Thursday, July 26th UF HealthStreet will be hosting an Our Community, Our Health (OCOH) town hall in observation of National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. This event will feature top researchers and mental health practitioners with expertise in child development, social epidemiology, and cultural diversity in mental health.
During this forum our panelists will discuss the stigma associated with mental disorders and the negative consequences that stigma has on individuals, families, and society as a whole.
We hope to foster an open discussion between researchers and members of the community, both local and national, via live audience Q&A and questions delivered via Twitter and text messaging.

Our Community, Our Health (OCOH), an initiative of HealthStreet, is a town hall meeting that facilitates two-way communication between the community and researchers. It is a forum for sharing the latest health-research findings and a place to collect and prioritize ideas for research from multiple stakeholders across the country.
