Please welcome Chad T. Douglas, UF HealthStreet’s new Communications Specialist. Chad earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida in 2012 and his Master of Arts in Mass Communication at UF in 2017. Chad has previously worked at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity at the Florida Museum of Natural History as a writer and an editor for publications as well as an assistant ecotour guide for staff-led trips to Central America, South America and Africa. He has also worked at Atlanta Digital Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, as a digital marketing strategist, graphic designer, blog writer and social media planner.
Chad most enjoys anything that asks him to rely on his creativity, and seeing big ideas come to fruition. When he is not in the office, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, writing and publishing works of fiction and participating in events supporting the arts.
