Welcome President Fuchs! HealthStreet Shows Value Of Health Research at College Showcase

The Value of Health Research In Our Community

HealthStreet represented the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions on Dec. 4 at the UF College Showcase. The College Showcase, held in celebration of President Kent Fuchs’ Inaugural week, represented various colleges and program initiatives. HealthStreet staff engaged students, faculty and President Fuchs to discuss how we achieve our mission to improve the health of the community by reducing gaps in health care and health research.

More than 40 people had their blood pressures checked along with tips on maintaining a healthy reading; even Dean Perri had his checked!
