Starting in the month of October, HealthStreet is excited to host Creative for Health: Art and Writing Workshops for People Affected by Cancer! We will be collaborating with the UF Center for Arts in Medicine to promote a healthier community through engaging workshops for writing, art, theater, and music in a fun and supportive environment.
- Participants will enjoy a variety of activities including painting, sculpting, dancing, and singing.
- Our partnering coordinators, Dylan Klempner and Cheri Knecht, will be offering these classes to all people affected by cancer: patients, survivors and caregivers.
- Participants are welcome to bring their own art projects or use materials provided by the UF Center for Arts in Medicine.
- The weekly art and writing workshops are FREE and open to the public, taking place every Wednesday at HealthStreet for six weeks from October 21st to December 2nd (excluding November 11th).
